Having completed the course and the lab the student:
KNOWLEDGE
-has the knowledge about modern methods and techniques used in the evaluation of the natural environment
- knows and understands the terminology and basic methods (research facilities and measurement) of environmental monitoring,

- knows how to independently plan and perform research tasks and expertise
- has the ability to collect empirical data and their interpretation.

- has a habit of using objective scientific information sources
Assessment criteria
Lectures - Attendance at the lecture is monitored by signing the attendance list, obligatory participation (three absences possible)
Assessment is based on the test exam, which deals with all matters mentioned during lectures and class (60% of correct answers is needed to pass the exam).
