KNOWLEDGE: The graduate knows and understands
• in an advanced manner, the rules as well as the molecular, cellular, and physiological mechanisms of development and functioning of plant organisms (K_W05 Bi)
• advanced laboratory, measurement, and imaging techniques used in biological research (K_W12 Bi)
• the principles of planning research and conducting experiments using specialized methods applied in the studied specialization of biological sciences (K_W13 Bi)
SKILLS: The graduate is able to
• apply research techniques and tools appropriate to problems in the studied specialization of biological sciences (K_U01 Bi)
• identify probable causes of experimental failure using professional literature and appropriately modify the course of the experiment (K_U05 Bi)
• under the supervision of a scientific advisor, plan and conduct an experiment using acquired methods; is able to propose methods for carrying out specified determinations and assess the usefulness and limitations of these methods for the material under study (K_U07 Bi)
• critically present research work in the field of the selected specialization of biological sciences using verbal communication and multimedia (K_U09 Bi)
