The Day of Explorers of the Ochota Campus 2025 1300-WDOKO25
The course is focused on the delivery of earlier acquired knowledge in geology and natural sciences to a general audience. It is conducted in form of short presentations, also with application of multimedia or educational models and individual work on simple experiments. Participants prepare and present presentations concerning various fields of Earth science, run the stand exposition and discuss about studying in the Faculty of Geology.

Learning outcomes
On completion of the course, the student:
- has the ability to deliver his knowledge in a short presentation,
- can point out the applications of Earth science and the advantages of studying geology,
- can individually run a stand exposition, prepare multimedia presentation or conduct simple geological and chemical experiments and describes them comprehensively,
- leads discussions and works in a team.
Assessment criteria
The assessment includes:
- student’s activity and commitment,
- short presentation, its merits and delivery,
- the ability to conduct an experiment, its originality and description,
- student’s teamwork skills.
