Geological history of the World on the touristic routes of Europe 1300-PGHZ3Z
The Proseminar is concentrated on the analysis of short-ranging intervals of Phanerozoic geological history, recorded in the geological sections of places in Europe, that are most frequently visited by tourists. A base for analysis is the presentation of geological structures, explanation of specific geological features deciding about the touristic attractiveness of the region, indication of the aspects weakly exposed in the existing touristic offer. The presented geosites are taken from the list of the European Association for the Conservation of the Geological Heritage.
