Professional Placement / Internship
Forms an integral part of the degree program and takes the form of practical training conducted in a work environment. Its objective is to foster key social competencies as well as to acquire and develop practical professional skills directly linked to the profile of the study program.
Scope and Modes of Delivery:
The placement is completed through independent work by the student in a selected institution, under the supervision of a designated mentor/supervisor.
Professional placements may be undertaken at:
- Public and private enterprises, as well as external institutions proposed by the student—provided that the scope of their activity is positively verified by the head of the academic unit or the academic placement coordinator.
- Organizational units of the University of Warsaw.
Requirements for Starting and Completing the Placement:
A prerequisite for starting the placement is the signing of a professional placement agreement or the submission of other documentation confirming cooperation with the host institution/company. During the placement, the student is required to maintain a professional placement logbook on an ongoing basis (in cooperation with the host institution's supervisor). Upon completion, the student must submit a final report detailing the execution of duties and the outcomes achieved.

Assessment criteria
Assessment is based on the evaluation of the placement logbook, the final professional placement report, and a summary interview conducted by the head of the academic unit or the professional placement coordinator.
