Prerequisites (description)
(in Polish) Przed rozpoczęciem nauki przedmiotu student powinien znać podstawy stratygrafii czwartorzędu, genezę i cechy osadów czwartorzędowych różnych środowisk, podstawy kartowania geologicznego.
Learning outcomes
After the exercises students:
- find and estimate palaeoclimatic and geological data
- analyse hypsometric, geological and geomorphological maps
- recognize geological and geomorphological records of climatic changes
- construct palaeogeographic drafts based on geomorphological maps
- draw and describe geological profile of outcrops
- make till fabrics and petrographic indices
- join sediments with climate environments
- prepare samples from geological core for pollen and petrographic analyses.
