Thematic blocks, each composed of introduction by the moderator followed by practical tasks to be fulfilled by the students. Such approach enables immediate application of stratigraphical methods in Quaternary research, making connection of theory with practice. There are 5 thematic blocks, in turn focused on categories of stratigraphical classification, principles of Quaternary climatostratigraphy and climatostratigraphical units, Stratigraphic subdivision of the Quaternary, climatostratigraphic methods and regional climatostratigraphy of the Quaternary.
