Erasmus Traineeship in the stable isotope laboratory 1300-EPLIT
The aim of the practice was to improve knowledge of the methodology for preparing Foraminifera samples for stable isotope analyses and interpreting the results of these analyses.

• experience in Foraminifera picking and preparing Foraminifera samples for stable isotope analysis,
• acquire skills in interpreting the isotope samples,
• enhance communication skills and teamwork competencies.
Assessment criteria
Grade on the basis of the documents: “Learning Agreement for Traineeships – after the mobility” and „Transcript of Work”
The basis for completing the traineeship is to present the obtained results. The student summarizes the work in the form of a scientific essay and presentation containing such information as: location of the studied area, history of previous research, proposed models of geological development of the area, discussion of the presented results. In addition, the final grade consists of an overall evaluation of the student's work, where aspects such as attitude to work, social skills and personal qualities.
