Didactic means in teaching chemistry 1 1200-2SRDCH12P
The main goal of the course is to familiarize students with the role of various teaching aids which can diversify the education process. During classes, ways of using and preparing didactic means, such as models, charts and didactic games will be discussed. The student will learn how to choose didactic means, including information and communication technology activating students. The student will create models, boards or didactic games according to his own project useful in teaching chemistry. During the classes, new publications in the field of teaching aids useful in natural education will be discussed and selected for the student's age.

Knowledge:
The student knows the role of teaching aids in the education process.
The student demonstrates knowledge of the basic didactic means used in school chemistry teaching.
He/ she has a basic knowledge of teaching aids available for use in teaching chemistry.
Skills:
He/ she is able to design /create models, boards, diagrams or didactic games of his own idea which will be useful in teaching chemistry.
He/she should be able (in accordance with the principles of didactics) to include his resources in the structure of chemistry lessons.
He/she has the ability to conduct lessons using many teaching aids.
Competence
The student is aware of the use of teaching aids to increase the attractiveness of classes.
Stimulates students' activity by creating simple teaching aids with them.
Develops inquisitiveness and stimulates student teamwork.
Assessment criteria
Attendance and activity in class. Development and implementation of teaching aids provided for in the program.
The attendance will be checked during classes.
One absence is allowed for justification during the semester.
Completion within the correction period can be obtained after completing the work planned for a given semester.
Practical placement
Undergoing pedagogical apprenticeship in elementary and high school is necessary to obtain pedagogical qualifications.
