Spectroscopic methods in analysis of biological matrices. Detection of biologically active compounds – enzymes and their substrates, antibodies and nucleic acids – using various analytical techniques. Biosensors. Directed evolution for the design of macromolecular bioessay reagents. Principles of electrophoresis. Application of centrifugation methods, chromatography and mass spectrometry. Analysis of biological fluids and tissues. Clinical analysers. Validation of new bioanalytical methods.

Znajomość technik instrumentalnych w zastosowaniu do chemii bioanalitycznej. Zrozumienie chemicznych i biologicznych podstaw funkcjonowania czujników biochemicznych i czujników chemicznych stosowanych w analizie próbek biologicznych.
