Biochemistry Laboratory 1200-2BIOCHL1M
The classes are conducted in a biochemistry laboratory in the form of practical experiments performed individually or in small groups. Each class is preceded by a short theoretical introduction and a discussion of safety procedures related to working with chemical reagents and biological materials.
Students are required to prepare theoretically for the classes, perform experiments according to the provided instructions, take notes using a template supplied by the instructor, and prepare written reports on the experiments carried out.
Estimated student workload during the semester – 50 hours total
• 30 hours – participation in laboratory classes
• 5 hours – preparation for entry tests
• 5 hours – preparation for quizzes/exams
• 10 hours – preparation of laboratory reports
