Chromatographic Methods Laboratory 1200-1ZMMECHL5
The course is divided into stationary laboratory and e-learning occupations. The course consists of six laboratory exercises, during which a student gets familiar with the basic of HPLC, six e-learning exercises and presentation of one article from Journal of Chromatography The exercises are aimed at demonstration of practical applications of methods presented during the lecture, and at extending the theoretical knowledge.

Learning outcomes
A student is able to understand HPLC method. Student knows how to calculate the basic separation parameters. Student knows the Microsoft Office software for practical application. Student knows what it is e-learning course and how to use such course for education. Student can use literature data base and presents scientific article during seminar.
Assessment criteria
The grade is weighted average of partial grades from homework and quizzes (e-learning course), final test score, and score of article presentation. Student should obtained minimum 60% of homework and quizzes, and minimum 50% of final test. Student can obtain every 100 points for homework, quizzes, article presentation and final test. The weights are as follow: for homework 0.1, for quizzes 0.1, for article presentation 0.1 and for final test 0.7.
