Fundamentals of Analytical Chemistry Laboratory 1200-1CHMPCHAL2
The experimental introduction to different types of chemical equilibria in watery solutions is given, including acids and bases - weak and strong, buffers, solubility and complexation processes. Mixed systems: effect of acid/ bases and complexation on solubility. The second part of the course is showing application of above equilibria for ions identification purposes in watery solutions. In parallel, chemical properties of chosen anions and cations are experimentally verified.
The full workload is 100 hours, including at least 40 hours for preparing for classes.
