Preclinical Trials of Radiopharmaceuticals 1200-1CHJBPRW5
This lecture is devoted to the synthesis, in vitro/in vivo biological studies, and the application of radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine. The following topics are discussed:
- targeted radionuclide therapy,
- classification of radiopharmaceuticals based on the type of emitter used,
- in vitro cell cultures (laboratory equipment, cell growth requirements, etc.),
- differences in the structure of cancer and normal cells,
- the process of carcinogenesis,
- spheroids and organoids,
- types of cell death and the cell cycle (mitosis, meiosis),
- types of receptors and ligands,
- methods for assessing the effectiveness of radiopharmaceuticals in vitro,
- cancer treatment,
- vectors used in nuclear medicine,
- in vivo use of the latest radiopharmaceuticals in nuclear medicine.
