Prerequisites (description)
The aim of the seminar is to present and discuss recent research developments in quantum information and quantum technologies. The meetings cover topics such as quantum computing, quantum communication and cryptography, quantum light sources, quantum metrology, multiphoton interference, and new platforms and methods for quantum information processing.
Learning outcomes
Knowledge of the latest results and open problems in the field of quantum technologies and quantum information theory. The ability to identify unresolved research problems.
Assessment criteria
Attendance: >80% — 4.5, >70% — 4, >60% — 3.5, >50% — 3.
Grade 5 is awarded on the condition that the student asks at least one question during the semester.
