The goal of the student seminar is to give students opportunity to prepare themselves and give seminars on various topics In theoretical physics. Students will learn new tools and techniques how to prepare computer presentations.
In the second part, each student will prepare and give a talk on the subject of his/her licentiate thesis chosen by the supervisor. Feedback from the instructors, supervisor, and other students provides a chance to improve the talk.
Program:
1. Basic principles for a good presentation.
2. Learning new multimedia techniques.
3. Preparing the presentation.
4. Presentations.

KNOWLEDGE
1. knows the basic problems of theoretical and experimental physics,
2. knows the basic research topics conducted at the Faculty of Physics

1. is able to prepare a multimedia presentation
2. is able to deliver a presentation of basic scientific results in physics
BASIS
1. recognizes significance of scientific results.
2. is prepared to writing down his/her B.Sc. thesis
Assessment criteria
Participation in the seminar, preparation and delivery of own presentation, home assignements. Active participation in discussions on the presentations of other students is also taken into account.
