Introduction to the history of People’s Republic of Poland, 1944-1989 3104-KON15ER-WB/Z-OG
The seminar offers an introduction to Poland in the 20th century and selected aspects of the history of Polish People’s Republic. Although some classic (institutional) sources will be analyzed, the seminar focusses on film, literature (novels) and public discussions.
A fluent knowledge of German is required.

Assessment criteria
Physical presence, knowledge of material to be discussed in the coming session, participation in discussion.
