SETTLEMENT AND ECONOMY OF THE NEOLITHIC SOCIETES ON THE TERRITORY OF POLAND 3101-DM0051
The main goal of this lecture is characteristic of settlement and economy of the Neolithic populations on territory of Poland. After presentation of the methodological aspects and methods used in settlement and economical studies of prehistoric cultures , participants of the lecture shall know all factors determinating character this basic ( fundamental ) elements of the prehistoric culture. Among natural ( environmental ) factors in detail shall characterized such an elements as climate, fauna, flora, topographic features , soils, river and lake network us well us generally water resources and resources of an important raw materials. Also in details shall be presented cultural elements which played an important part in a choosing of place for settlement and its form and organization - especially cultural tradition and roads of interregional contacts. The last ones are particularly important for the exchange of various goods ( including raw materials ), speed circulation of information and direct relations between people even representing a very distant cultural environments. Such a contacts substantially influence for dynamic and character of cultural transformations among societies.
In the further parts of the lecture settlement and economy of the Neolithic cultures from polish territory shall be presented taking into consideration their regional differentiation . Also shall shown their skill in an adaptation of settlement and economical model societies of the same cultures in different macro- mezo- and microregional conditions.
