Anthropology of Sexuality: Sexual and Reproductive Rights 3002-KON2019K50-OG
The course is dedicated to presentation and analysis of chosen social and research fields related to sexuality and reproduction. Both issues are strongly ideologically engaged. Therefore they are subjects of culture wars and are frequently referred to by diverse political actors. During the course we will discus such topics as infertility treatments, pro-choice and pro-life activism, sexuality education, sex work, sexual and family life of GSD people. The course is based on the study of literature accompanied by workshops, during which the students will have occasion to meet invited social activists. Students are encouraged to contribute to course program.

Having finished the course, a student will:

-be able to participate in public debates on the transformations of sexuality and the aspects of culture related to these fenomena.
