Public Sector Economics 2400-ESP3ESP
Main purpose of this course is to present a part of economy, which sets the infrastructure of the state. There are four parts of lecture. First, generally characterizes the public sector in opposition to private sector. The second introduces public goods: pure, mixed, local and global, together with an analysis of its functioning conditions and diverse demand for it. Third, is an analysis of public sector institutions in comparison with private sector. Fourth gives the perspective on conditions and areas of cooperation between public and private sectors. Lecture is designed for students of Public Sector Economics and Finance and Accounting, but is should be somehow compulsory for all streams, like macro and microeconomics. Attendance and active attitude are required. Grades are based on written exam.
