Copyright 2200-SZD-PA-EN
Lecture covers fundamental institutions of copyright law, especially those having impact on academic work, such as:
a) object of copyright (work); work vs non-protected creativity (ideas, discoveries etc.)
b) authorship;
c) moral and property rights;
d) authorised use of copyrighted works (permitted use for scientific purposes, citations), plagiarism;
e) dissemination of own works, rights and duties of doctoral students regarding works created in connection with doctoral studies.

a) Knows and understands rules on dissemination of results of academic activity, including such dissemination in open access schedules;
b) Knows and understands legal environment of academic activity
c) Is prepared to initiate activities in public interest;
d) Is prepared to maintain and develop the ethics of academic and creative societies, including: safeguarding independence of academic activities and respecting the principle of public access to effects of acedemic research
