I. Learning outcomes
• Can communicate in Belarusian language on C2 level
• Can communicate in Russian language or other language not related to the faculty on B2+ level
• Can properly interpret the development of Belarusian national liberation idea and its influence on the organisation of Belarusian social life
• Can evaluate the meaning of particular authors’ work against the background of Belarusian literature
• Can evaluate the meaning of particular language occurrences in the context of modern international, economical, political and social situation of Belarus and its borderlands
• Has the advanced knowledge about the meaning of emigration in Belarusian language and culture forming
• Has the advanced knowledge about modern Belarus culture
• Understands the influence of politics and history on the development of Belarusian literary language
• Understands the territorial conditions of the process of Belarusian language differentiation
• Understands the characteristics of Belarusian language or literature related to other languages or cultures
II. ECTS Credits: 120 credit points awarded within four full terms (including Option A for graduates holding a BA degree in Belarusian Studies or Slavic Studies specializing in the Belarusian language and Option B for graduates holding a BA degree in other subjects).
