1. Learning outcomes:
On completion of the programme of study the graduate:
• displays deepened knowledge of educational research methodology and methods of its practical application
• demonstrates knowledge of the principles of effective training and the organization of learning situations ensuring success in learning
• knows educational methods appropriate for the education of children in preschool and early primary school
• can apply theoretical knowledge to design educational situations at different stages of education taking into account the practical effects involving phenomena from different areas of social life
• can independently acquire knowledge and expand their own professional skills necessary to design a set of courses in working with children and youth
• can adapt pedagogical activities to the individual needs of children and youth at different stages of education
• takes educational activity which is the result of reflection and in-depth analysis of their own practical experience in working with students
• is able to work in a team of teachers when solving important problems for education in a given institution, to support others and benefit from the support, create a democratic culture of the functioning of the institution
2. Studies in ECTS credits and the number of semesters: 120 credits, 4 semesters
3. The programme is based on standards for teacher education: Regulation by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 17 January 2012 on training standards for the teaching profession
4. number of ECTS credits attributable to:
- fundamental courses: 24 ECTS;
- practical courses, including laboratories and projects: max. 10 ECTS
- elective courses - 50 ECTS
5. teaching practice: max. 150 hours, max. 10 ECTS within individual modules
