Bike training 4023-P-TRER
Through the lessons students will improve their health as well as mental and physical condition, enhance motor skills, develop optimum position on the bike and get knowledge about the effect of physical exercise on the body. They will follow the basic elements of bike training:
- sprint exercises;
- power exercises;
- endurance exercises;
- technical exercises - mastering the technique of cycling, using appropriate gears in the bike
- in the breaks between exercises sightseeing information elements also may be added.
Outdoor activities (in a case of unfavorable weather conditions, classes may be moved to the gym or changed to another date).

Learning outcomes
Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will learn the correct handling and maintenance of a bicycle;
- will be practicing bicycle safely for both roads and trails;
- will improve skills such as balance, agility, coordination, speed, gear shifting and overall control of the bicycle.
Assessment criteria
Class attendance and active participation.
