Belly dance 4023-P-TANB
This oriental dance, commonly referred to as belly dance, originated in Arabic countries. Contrary to its name, it is hips not belly which play the key role in it. Belly dance improves flexibility and motor co-ordination. During classes, students will be presented basic steps as well as hip, torso and arm movements. They will also learn combinations and short routines to different types of oriental music.
The classes are open to any persons, including non-students.

Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
