Yoga (distance) 4023-O-JOGA1-ZD
Workout combining isometric muscle contractions with stretching, which increases joint mobility and eliminates muscle contracture:
- Asanas in the sagittal plane: forward and backward bends to increase spinal mobility;
- Asanas with body working in the frontal plane;
- Asanas to increase spinal mobility in the side plane;
- Asanas to increase mobility of shoulder, hip, knee and ankle joints;
- Asanas to strengthen the arms and legs as well as back, abdominal and gluteal muscles.

Learning outcomes
Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
