Dance & Shape 4023-O-DS-ZD
Interval workout involving exercises of high and low intensity. Dynamic series based on dance and fitness choreographies are interspersed by lower intensity bodyweight exercises improving strength and stability. By performing exercises, students will:
- enhance flexibility, coordination and general physical condition
- develop a good sense of rhythm and movement aesthetics
- learn basic dance and fitness steps
- strengthen all muscle groups

Learning outcomes
Students:
- will acquire the general knowledge of the human body and its functioning;
- will be able to exercise safely;
- will learn how to work in a team;
- will understand the need to stay fit in order to remain healthy;
- will be able to use sports equipment correctly;
- will develop special motor skills under the guidance of the Physical Education and Sports Centre’s staff.
Assessment criteria
In order to obtain a course credit students are required to participate in classes regularly and actively.
