Description of Soviet historical science: historical politics, methodology, centers, schools, majors. General and special in Russian, Ukrainian and Belarusian historiography. The history of Poland in Soviet historiography. Formation of national historiography in the 1990s: historical policy, change of methodology and paradigms, main centers and directions. Russian historical policy and science during the reign of Boris Yeltsin. Russian historical policy and science during the reign of Vladimir Putin. The history of Poland in contemporary Russian historiography. The evolution of Ukrainian historical policy and science. The history of Poland in contemporary Ukrainian historiography. Contradictions of Belarusian historical policy and science. The history of Poland in contemporary Belarusian historiography.

The course includes weekly 2-hour classes. lecture As part of the classes:
