Alumnus:
- has basic knowledge in the range of theory of humanities (literary studies or linguistics or history) necessary to understand chosen cultural aspects – K_W04
- can search for, analyze, evaluate and use information from different sources – K_U01
- has the ability of substantive argumentation with the use of other authors’ views – K_U23
- understands the need to learn all one’s life – K_K01
- is prepared to make others aware of the cultural distinctness and its religious, philosophical, traditional and historical roots and its significance for understanding modern world – K_K05
The student should:
- have the knowledge of history of Akkadian language,
- have the knowledge of the material (forms of noun, adjective, numeral, pronoun, 3-radical verb and read texts);
- recognize the forms of nomen and 3-radical verb,
- recognize about 100 cuneiform signs in neo-assyrian script,
- analyse learned texts and individually read the texts prepared by lecturer;
- understand the meaning of Akkadian language in study and comprehension of Ancient Near Eastern world.
Assessment criteria
Assessment criteria:
- attendance control (two absences allowed)
- continuous assessment,
- written tests,
- final written assessments.
