Proseminar 3600-3-SIW2-P1
This course is designed to help students get through the process of learning how to research and arrange the results, from the very beginning, with the selection of an appropriate topic of interest, then with formulating questions, searching for the data, using traditional and electronic library bases, critical selection and a proper use of it.
Fall semster
˘ A special attention is paid to research methods: how to find primary and secondary materials, analyze data and interpret it, how to organize findings into a paper or presentation.

Assessment criteria
Attendance obligatory. Classroom active participation, and preparation of texts required. Fall and summer semestral reports based on two midsemestral written tests (written translation into Polish of the selected known texts); obligatory one year course final written exam (translation into Polish of the selected new text).
