Moderation techniques and assessment of their impact on deliberations about the environment and ecology. Case study 3500-SEMBAD-DPS
In the first semester, students participating in the seminar will learn the principles of deliberation, moderation techniques, and tools. They will observe discussions conducted by a moderator and with the use of an IT application for automatic moderation.
In the second semester, students will analyze the empirical material, among other things, in terms of the impact of moderation on the inclusiveness of the debate. Students will observe the differences when a moderator is a human or a machine. The analysis will be qualitative and quantitative.

Presentation of a 15 minutes presentation of an individual analysis of empirical material.
