The political system of the Polish Republic - the perspective of new institutionalism 3500-CPS-SPIIIRP
The lecture is devoted to analysis of the dynamics of changes in the political system in Poland in the years 1989-2020. At the center of each political system is the state and its system. Despite contemporary trends such as "political spill-over" and the blurring of the once clear boundary between the state and society, the state remains the main form of political organization of society.
The basic framework for the activity of individuals and groups is created by the institutions and organizations that make up the political system. They will be presented from a neo-institutional perspective - assuming that institutions not only constitute sets of external constraints on human activities, but are themselves the subject of tenders, can be constructed, can evolve and disappear.
The lecture contains comparative threads, but focuses on the political system of the ,,Third” Polish Republic. The lecture focuses on tenders and political conflicts in Poland after 1989 year.
