Knowledge of films 3224-D1WOF
The course starts with the general introduction to the film as a special type of the audiovisual medium, then students will be provided with the selection of the most important events from the film history, as well as the evolution of film forms and tradition of the cinematic expression (based on film clips and examples).

Assessment criteria
Important aspect of the classes is discussion, which led to better understanding of the issues and allows students to express their views. Classes ends with the writing test.
Participation in the classes is obligatory, as well as other duties like for example preparing the dedicated literature, knowledge of the presented films.
Bibliography
Due to the conversational mode of the classes literature is limited to a few scripts and books. The list of literature and the detailed course schedule are provided to students at the beginning of the semester. Classes are held in Polish.
