1. Presentation of the possibilities of building investment and non-investment projects co-financed from structural funds of the European Union
Presentation of basic programs under which you can get support. Characteristics of Implementing and Supporting Institutions from the point of view of obtaining co-financing.
2. Presentation of the possibilities of building investment and non-investment projects co-financed from structural funds of the European Union (rev.)
Defining products, results and impacts of the projects, beneficiaries, forms of partnership between public and private entities. Teams presentations of project ideas.
3. Project budget, public procurement.
Discussing the project budget structure. What are eligible and ineligible costs. Overview of public procurement rules. Selection of project contractors and purchasing of fixed assets for the implementation of the project.
4. The application form
Introduction to the subject of the application for co-financing: formal assessment, economic and technical assessment and evaluation. The schedule of the project implementation and the durability of the project.
5. Agreement, public procurement procedures
Structure and content of the contract, rights and obligations. Financial insurance for the contract.
6. Application for payment
The rules for completing the payment application form. Documents confirming the eligibility of expenditure.
7. Feasibility studies for investment projects
Requirements for investment projects. Practical use of the Cost Benefit Analysis methodology when creating feasibility studies for investment projects. Feasibility study and alternative analysis, multi-criteria analysis, sensitivity and risk analysis, revenues generated by the project, residual value of investment, correction of inflation effect, financial durability, selection of an appropriate discount rate, basic performance indicators (financial internal rate of return, FRR) from investments (FRR/C) and from equity (FRR/K), as well as financial net present value (FNPV), specification of co-financing rate, fiscal effects of investment projects, correction of other external effects in the economic analysis.

1. The student has the ability to prepare an application for co-financing from the European Union structural funds

3. The student is able to detect basic mistakes made when creating applications for co-financing
4. The student has the ability to create a feasibility study of an investment project in the field of economic and financial analysis

1. Student understands that co-financing from public funds must be perceived in a broader social context and must be consistent with the assumptions of program and strategic documents established by public authorities
2. The student is aware that the institution providing co-financing has the right to require fulfillment of the dedicated regulations and guidelines
3. The student knows how to work in a team when creating an application form for co-financing
