Upon finishing the course, the participants will have gained the knowledge and skills listed below.

The participant:
- knows the key ELT terminology;
- is acquainted with the key theoretical and research findings that underlie current ELT methodology;
- is acquainted with the basic individual differences between language learners;
- knows the reasons for classroom management and for organising various forms of classroom interaction;
- knows the basic techniques of teaching language skills;
- knows the role of language learning strategies;
- knows the principles of collaborative language learning in projects;
- knows the key techniques for correcting and testing learners;
- knows the elements of various lesson plans for teaching language systems and skills;
- is acquainted with teaching aids and equipment.
- is acquainted with contemporary trends in CALL and MALL
Skills:
The participant:
- can design a communicative activity;
- can design tasks to activate various learning strategies;
- can modify textbook material adequately to his/her needs;
- can write a lesson plan on the basis of textbook material;
- can design a plan of a project;
- can apply mobile applications in teaching and learning.
